Composite Panels

Composite or sandwich panels are wood panels consisting of two plywood faces and a central core. The latter is formed from special materials like cork, rubber and PVC, which provide specific technical characteristics such as sound absorbency and lightness.
Composite panels are mainly used by shipyards for insulation, wall-coverings and soundproofing. The various panels can also be used in environments, or for furnishings, that require a specific level of technical performance.
Upon specific request, custom composite panels can be made from different type of plywood and panels such as poplar plywood and MDF in place of okoumé plywood.
All the various types of panels can be veneered.
