Description

Use: very suitable for outdoor works, for windows and doors, rustic furniture, chests and cabinets. Its typical, very intense odour keeps insects and moths away.

Characteristics: sapwood and heartwood differentiated with the first yellowish very light and the second ivory to brown or dark yellowish with clearly visible veins. Hardwood, medium heavy and very resistant to plant and animal parasites.

Drying: fast and easy.

Surface: medium texture, mostly straight grain. 

Gluing: presents no particular difficulty.
