Description

Use: used to make panels for kitchen or closet doors and living room and bathroom furniture. Also widely used for covering doors, walls and ceilings and for nautical furnishings.

Characteristics: It generally has a uniform whitish or pale yellow colour. Bamboo grows very quickly and reaches its maximum height after just one or two years. It is important that Bamboo not be cut after two or three years because it is very subject to attack by external agents such as fungi that cause the appearance of brown or black spots.

Drying: must be dried slowly.

Surface: does not have annual rings. Uniform, medium to fine texture.

Gluing: normal joints are easily made.
